The Nephrology division at the MEIH- Bsalim provides a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for patients with all types of kidney diseases, including acute and chronic kidney diseases. The nephrology team is involved in the diagnosis and management of all types of electrolytes disturbances, nephrolithiasis, glomerulonephritis, hypertension disorders, and acute and chronic renal diseases including ESKD.

The renal replacement therapy includes peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis as well as plasmapheresis. The dialysis unit is equipped with the most modern dialysis machines providing high flux as well as online hemodiafiltration.

The department has one of the most active kidney transplantation programs in Lebanon. It includes kidney transplantation from living and cadaveric donors.
